Scenario

Hibiscus had been growing organically as a business based at the home of its Managing Director Alex Clark. Growth had been consistent and rapid. The requirement for Salon premises where treatments could be performed and health products marketed to ensure the company’s continued growth had been identified.

But the need was not just for premises. A corporate image was required that would be consistent in communications at the point of sale, the Salon.

Approach

Alex Clark visited the Minuteman Press print centre to ascertain to what extent Minuteman could assist in the realisation of Hibiscus’ marketing objectives.

“It was immediately clear that Minuteman could add value at multiple levels; advice, design and production” commented Alex. “I asked Minuteman to create a logo and as it evolved we adapted our Salon colour scheme to match. I wanted a consistent palette that would convey a considered corporate image. So the logo designs lead the Salon decoration!”

Result

Alex wanted to open the new Salon with a ‘bang’. A striking full colour, single sided, A5 leaflet was created to support the grand opening of the Hibiscus Salon developing the corporate style and logo that had been created. The leaflet was distributed to profiled locations.

“I also wanted individually numbered special offer vouchers in various denominations and associated colours that could be validated and given to prospective clients as an incentive to give Hibiscus a try.” advised Alex. “Minuteman incorporated the Hibiscus logo, font and Pantone colours in all three vouchers, creating attractive dockets that convey value.”

A brochure was also required that would detail the unique selling propositions of Hibiscus, together with the services and treatments available, opening hours, contact details and location. An eight page A5 colour booklet was created for distribution at the Salon and events.

“The brochure developed with Minuteman Press will complement our marketing package to ensure the continued growth and success of Hibiscus” concluded Alex.
