Jack Crossley joins the graphic design team

We’re delighted to introduce our new team member Jack. Having graduated in art, design and creative media, Jack was eager to pursue his fervour for all things creative.

Jack joins us fresh from a Graphic Design role for The Grand Pier, Weston-super-Mare. Jack is creative, talented and has a passion for art, design and big ideas!

“For me, design is about communication; communicating abstract ideas in a simple, whilst visually interesting format, that’s the challenge I enjoy as a designer…. I have a good eye for design and aesthetics; there shouldn’t be a compromise between something that looks good and something that has a clear message.”

Michelangelo is much admired by Jack (and by many others!); a source of design inspiration, so many astonishing timeless masterpieces produced at such a young age. Jack advises he “won’t be creating any renaissance frescoes at the moment”, but perhaps in the future! Watch this space.

Jack is experienced in design, print and finishing projects; delivering a range of diverse material, from basic signage to huge creative projects. The variety of goods and services supplied by Minuteman Press Bristol will bring new and exciting opportunities for Jack; “I like to be challenged and engaged in a diverse range of projects… a varied client base is exciting also, for example my first project at Minuteman Press was designing business cards for Bristol City Women’s Football Club; a whole range of clients so far encountered, private individuals to big companies”.

“I like working in a small business, you can really make a difference” further “Working in the centre of the community where I live is a great feeling”.

A busy day is the norm for Jack “I like multitasking; I like having a lot to do; great that design and production are all in-house here”.

“As a child my hero was Steve Irwin [Zoologist, conservationist and television personality; 1962 – 2006], his love of animals was compelling”; in later life “perhaps controversially, Chelsea Manning, released from prison in 2017, she had to fight so hard to be correctly treated”.

“We’re so pleased to welcome Jack into the fold. Jack brings experience and fresh ideas which will add value for our many and diverse clients” Peter Wise, Director.
